Rick retired from the reserves in 2013 and worked for the Utah State Penitentiary until his diagnosis of cancer in August of 2019, officially retiring from the state in January of 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother Keith Brown. Steven Andrew Brown, 52, of Dade City died on December 10, 2020, of Covid-19 and pneumonia. The day he was diagnosed with cancer he had a meeting with his family and said, “No pity parties.” And we wish to honor him and his life with a celebration.
